MapleStory Classic World Platforms Overview
MapleStory Classic World platforms center on a single confirmed delivery method: the official Nexon PC client for Global MapleStory Classic World. Nexon launched the game globally on October 21, 2026, positioning it as a pre-Big Bang style MMORPG for PC players. Unlike some fan projects, this is an official Nexon product with a dedicated landing page and integration into the wider MapleStory Global ecosystem.
Video Highlights:
- Official trailer from the verified MapleStory YouTube channel
- Showcases the retro pre-Big Bang MMORPG positioning
- Highlights modern convenience features layered onto classic gameplay
The table below summarizes the confirmed platform status:
| Platform | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| PC (Nexon official client) | Confirmed | Primary and only confirmed game platform |
| Official landing page | Confirmed | Nexon-hosted entry point for game info and downloads |
| Console (PlayStation/Xbox) | Not announced | No official console version exists |
| Mobile | Not announced | No official mobile client confirmed |
| Roblox / MapleStory Worlds | Not related | Entirely separate products |
MapleStory Classic World is often confused with MapleStory Worlds, Roblox-based projects like Artale, and private servers such as MapleRoyals or MapleLegends. None of these are the official Nexon Classic World. Use only the official Nexon channels to download and play.
Official Access Channels
All official MapleStory Classic World platforms and information flow through a small set of verified channels. Bookmark these rather than relying on third-party mirrors or reposted download links.
| Channel | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Nexon MSCW landing page | Official site | Game info, client access, official community entry |
| Official MapleStory Global Discord | Official community | Main community hub, announcements, support |
| r/MSClassicWorld | Player community | Version news, classes, leveling, guild recruitment |
| Official MapleStory YouTube channel | Official media | Trailers and update videos |
Classic World uses the existing official MapleStory Global Discord rather than a fully separate server. This means Global MapleStory players and Classic World players share one official community space, which concentrates announcements and support in a single location.
